Looking for new staff!

I’m planning on expanding the news content for this site over the next couple of weeks. However, I have too many websites now to contribute full-time that I can’t contribute enough during the working months, so I’m looking for help. Currently, it would be a volunteer job (AdSense revenue is up, but hasn’t covered the hosting cost for last year yet), but when revenues do start to top the costs, I’ll be able to provide a small form of income. If you’re interested in doing this sort of thing, here’s the general guidelines. Those are fairly old, but generally the same thing. Just contact me via my email, admin at techinhiding.com.

Also, I’m launching a new gaming-centric website to be part of the TiH network. Same deal, but this would be news oriented, with some video game opinion. If you’re more interested in opinion tech news, Tech in Hiding is also looking for writers.

Advantages:

• Writing for a professional quality website looks good on a resume
• Currently, the Tech in Hiding network averages around 1,000 unique visitors per day
• Potential to get on a podcast that more than two people listen to (We have three!)
• I occasionally treat people to games that I buy with my own money
• Get on beta lists that I get on. Meaning if you’re looking for a GWave invite or similar, I’ve got lots.
• Your Internet cred goes +1 if you’re into that sort of thing.

The Lionfish concept appears to be a fisheye video conferencing system. Nothing overly fancy, but the video does seem quite crisp.

This is a chip that goes into lower end portable computers (most likely netbooks) that offloads some of the processing work to the Zii to free up the CPU for other tasks.
